This is very special, seated event to see the variation of vintage, impact of the growing season, how wines age & evolve in the bottle.
Special Guest: Samantha Mueller
The last of the five Mueller kids, Samantha enjoys sharing her experiences of growing up Wine Country style with chores that included bottling, labeling, and helping with harvest. She considers herself very lucky to grow up in such expansive beauty with the guidance of two parents that followed their passions. When she is not at the winery, she is probably painting something new to hang in the tasting room and enjoying a glass of her favorite McM wine. With a degree from Sacramento State University under her belt, you will be seeing more of Samantha around the winery as she tries to gain her footing in the business and learn more about wine making.
McKenzie-Mueller is a small, family-run winery committed to making high quality wines. Founded in 1989 by Bob Mueller and Karen McKenzie, our fifty acre estate is tucked away in the enchanting Los Carneros region of southern Napa County. We made our first vintage in 1990, producing 500 cases. We now produce 2500 cases a year. We are proud to be named Estate Winery of the Year in 2000 by Wine & Spirits magazine. Bob’s winemaking career spans more than 40 years with time at Robert Mondavi and OPUS ONE.
